We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (given when you submit a form, place an order, or opt in to receive a free resource) and, where applicable, to perform a contract with you (fulfilling a paid order) or to comply with a legal obligation. 4. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary to operate this website and fulfil your order:
- Razorpay — our payment gateway, to process payments securely. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
- Hosting provider (Hostinger) — to store and serve this website and associated files.
- Courier / logistics partner — whichever courier we use to dispatch your order (this may vary by shipment) receives your name, address, and phone number to deliver physical book orders to your shipping address.
- Third-party embeds used on this site (e.g. YouTube for video, Google Fonts) may process limited technical data (such as IP address) per their own privacy policies when their content loads in your browser.
We do not knowingly transfer your personal data outside India except where the above third-party service providers process data on servers located outside India as part of their standard global infrastructure.
5. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, and thereafter as required to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations (typically up to 1 year for financial and transaction records). Leads captured through our free-resource and waitlist forms are retained until you ask us to delete them or until they are no longer needed for the purpose collected. You may request earlier deletion subject to Section 6 below.
6. Your rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Erase personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity
- Register a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India

7. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction — including restricting file/directory access on our server and never storing full payment card details (these are handled entirely by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's data
This website and its products are intended for CA Final-level students and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without verifiable parental/guardian consent, as required under the DPDP Act. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
